Description

NovaTec® Presal Fluid combines the benefits of DMPP, a nitrification inhibitor, with the unique elicitor ESSR-1 in a liquid form. The elicitor acts as an osmoregulatory and osmoprotective molecule inside the plant and activates the plants’ immune defense system. This way, the plants can tolerate salinity stress much better, which results in improved turf health.

Sustainability

CO2-Reduction: 311 kg CO2e/t Product produced

Low-Carbon Footprint

Since 2024, COMPO EXPERT uses low-carbon ammonia to reduce the CO2 footprint of fertilisers.

The reported reduction for this product is achieved using ammonia, which has a CO2 footprint that is at least 60% lower than the market standard. This reduction is certified by our supplier and has been validated by an independent test center.

The value of 2.66 kg CO2e per kg of ammonia serves as a benchmark. This is based on average industrial emissions data for ammonia production from the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) and includes emissions from ammonia production and upstream hydrogen production.

Transport & Storage Recommendations

Transport

  • Delivery as loose goods in big bags or on pallets with bags and canisters.
  • Protect loose goods from moisture during transport.
  • Protect goods from excessive direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations during transport.
  • Only transport fertiliser at moderate temperatures. Use an air-conditioned lorry if necessary.
  • Take note of any hazardous material labels on the product.

Storage

Storage general

  • Protect stored fertiliser from frost, light, and moisture.
  • Store loose goods inside a building and not in outdoor areas. Keep doors closed and cover heaped materials.
  • As the product has a tendency to attract moisture, protect it from rain and standing water.
  • Take note of the hazardous material labels on the product where appropriate.
  • Please check the label or safety data sheet for the appropriate transport conditions and storage temperatures.

Storage temperature

  • Avoid frost and excessively high temperatures.
  • Avoid large temperature fluctuations during storage.

Storage period

  • When stored correctly, fertiliser (excluding liquid fertiliser) can be stored in its sealed original packaging for up to three years after delivery.
  • Products should be used up as quickly as possible once opened.
