Introducing Presal - Salinity Stress Solutions

Our Presal salinity stress reducing solutions are available in multiple product options from both liquid and water soluble formulations.

For salinity stress prevention and nutritional input, NovaTec^® Presal Fluid and NovaTec^® Solub Presal provide the perfect solution. Both contain DMPP nitrification inhibitor delivering optimum nutrition, reduced leaching and with up to 10 weeks longevity.

When salinity stress & sodium levels are high, a corrective approach is needed. Kamasol^® Presal SP displaces sodium from soils, replacing it with Calcium while also improving soil structure and strengthening cell membranes.

Salinity Stress

• Salt stress occurs as a result of excessive salt accumulation in the soil whereby the plant cannot up-take water it needs with roots.
• Salinity composes stress by damaging ionic and osmotic balances in plants.
• Osmotic stress caused by increasing the amount of salt in soil, decreases the amount of water that the plant uses and as a result physiological drought occurs.
