Beschrijving

NovaTec® 18 Fluid is a liquid ammonium-nitrate-based stabilized (DMPP technology) fertilizer for soil application. DMPP reduces N leaching and increases N efficiency. For a period of 4 to 10 weeks, depending on soil temperature and soil humidity, the transformation of ammonium to nitrate is delayed. N availability is further adapted to the plants’ requirements and N efficiency is increased.
For usage in horticulture and special crops, outdoor and under glass.

Lage CO2 - voetafdruk

Sinds 2024 gebruikt COMPO EXPERT koolstofarme grondstoffen om de CO2-voetafdruk van gespecialiseerde meststoffen te verminderen.

De hier gerapporteerde vermindering wordt bereikt door het gebruik van koolstofarme ammoniak en/of kaliumsulfaat, die een lagere CO2-voetafdruk hebben dan het respectieve marktgemiddelde (-60% voor ammoniak en -90% voor kaliumsulfaat). Deze reductie is gecertificeerd door onze leveranciers en is gevalideerd door een onafhankelijke certificeringsinstantie.

Benchmarks zijn de gemiddelde emissiegegevens van de Europese industrie uit de ecoinvent 3.11 database.

Aanbevelingen voor transport en opslag

Transport

  • Delivery as loose goods in big bags or on pallets with bags and canisters.
  • Protect loose goods from moisture during transport.
  • Protect goods from excessive direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations during transport.
  • Only transport fertilizer at moderate temperatures. Use an air-conditioned lorry if necessary.
  • Take note of any hazardous material labels on the product.

Opslag

Opslag algemeen

  • Protect stored fertilizer from frost, light, and moisture.
  • Store loose goods inside a building and not in outdoor areas. Keep doors closed and cover heaped materials.
  • As the product has a tendency to attract moisture, protect it from rain and standing water.
  • Take note of the hazardous material labels on the product where appropriate.
  • Please check the label or safety data sheet for the appropriate transport conditions and storage temperatures.

  • Avoid frost and excessively high temperatures.
  • Avoid large temperature fluctuations during storage.

  • Products should be used up as quickly as possible once opened.
