Description

Floranid® Twin Permanent is a universal long-term fertilizer for use on turf in various applications (sports turf, golf, ornamental and leisure turf). The balanced nutrient composition is also ideal for the use in ornamental plants, trees, shrubs and commercial horticulture. Floranid® Twin Permanent contains the double N technology made of ISODUR® and CROTODUR® for efficient and controlled nitrogen release over a period of up to 4 months. The activity index is over 95%. The double N technology ensures long-term nutrient supply, ensures maximum N efficiency and leads to optimum growth and good coloring. Each granule contains all nutrients and thus guarantees a very exact distribution of all nutrients.


For many years, Floranid® Twin Permanent has stood for reliable, uniform nutrient supply and high effectiveness. With further development, this established product has been sustainably optimized – without compromising its proven performance.

Low-Carbon Footprint

Since 2024, COMPO EXPERT has been using low-carbon raw materials to reduce the carbon footprint of many specialty fertilizers for the Central European market.

The here reported reduction is achieved using low-carbon sources of nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, and/or sulfur, which have a lower carbon footprint compared to the respective market average (-60% for nitrogen and -90% for potassium, magnesium, and sulfur). This reduction was certified by our suppliers and validated there by an independent certification body. The percentage reduction applies exclusively to the raw material components listed; it does not apply to the entire life cycle of the finished product.

Emissions data from the respective European production of the raw materials, as found in the ecoinvent 3.11 database, serve as a reference for the market average in this comparison.

Transport & Storage Recommendations

Transport

  • Delivery as loose goods in big bags or on pallets with bags and canisters.
  • Protect loose goods from moisture during transport.
  • Protect goods from excessive direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations during transport.
  • Only transport fertilizer at moderate temperatures. Use an air-conditioned lorry if necessary.
  • Take note of any hazardous material labels on the product.

Storage

Storage general

  • Protect stored fertilizer from frost, light, and moisture.
  • Store loose goods inside a building and not in outdoor areas. Keep doors closed and cover heaped materials.
  • As the product has a tendency to attract moisture, protect it from rain and standing water.
  • Take note of the hazardous material labels on the product where appropriate.
  • Avoid stacking more than two pallets on top of each other. Always cover loose goods and do not offload in the rain.
  • Only transport and store at temeratures between 5 °C and 40 °C. Only store in the original packaging. Products should be used up as quickly as possible once opened.
